    Taken last year on Sanibel.
    Canon 1DX
    600MM and 1.4 x
    ISO 800 F 9 SS1/1250
    I was at F9 to make sure I got the invertebrate food item within DOF in case plover turned his head towards me.
    PP: Crop to 75% FF.Usual LR 5 sliders, cleaned up some dark spots in BG, DE at 2 % and USM to JPEG

    Super nice Gail with the prey item in focus and the raised foot. Lovely flat water and BG, maybe lightening the eye to bring out the brown would be a suggestion. Nice work!

    A lovely shot, with no nits from me. Great pose, good low POV, great exposure on whites and blacks; and the food item is the icing.

    Hi Gail, another excellent low level capture, and the Plover seemed to play ball nicely by feeding parallel to you. I do like the light and exposure, and well timed for the feeding behaviour - falling drops included. Love the OOF wave in the BG to break the blue.
