This month's theme is mini worlds, but I don't know what they are. Can someone show me some examples? Thanks!

Hazel posted one on March 6, and there have been other good ones on here in the past. I've not played with them, myself, but I think it's best (maybe necessary) to start with a panorama. It's converted into a mini world with the use of the Polar Coordinates filter in Photoshop.
Thanks, Dennis. I looked up Hazel's post, and once I saw it remembered it--I like it a lot. Not sure I'm going to try.
Anita give it a try. It's really a fun exercise. When it "pops" into final place, it's always a surprise. You have to start with a panorama shape and go from there. Google it. Lots of posts on how to.
The theme and Hazel's post on this theme reminds me of this anamorphic image of Jules Verne. Maybe not exactly mini world, but that animation blew my mind. Maybe, just maybe (considering this is a common projection in mapping), there is a software that can do cylindrical projection.
Anita, since you seemed unsure about the process and about whether you'd be interested or not, I took the liberty of adapting your "composite" posting. It is fun to see what happens.
This one turned out perfectly - thanks Hazel![]()
