The behemoth in Washington state.
The first time I have been there for the spring flow (the fall on the right disappears in Summer).

Hi Dan, this looks like a fantastic waterfall and even nicer with the side cascade...I do love how the sunlight is illuminating the mist rising from the upper cascade. Very nicely done!
Beautiful, Dan! I echo Andrew's comment about the beautiful lighting on the top. I also love the foreground in this picture. Just curious, is this shot using the holy trinity 14-24?
Thanks for the comment, Adhika, the lens is the Rokinon 14mm, a killer lens, if you shoot Nikon you should own one.
$300 or so for the best corner to corner wide angle I have ever used and the easiest focus manual lens there is.

I have heard good things about this lens, Dan. My go-to UWA lens is the old Nikkor 20 2.8s. I find anything wider is hard to manage. But for $300, that lens is hard to beat. I would certainly give it a try. Rokinon is really a company that has come so far. They used to be nothing in the photography world, now they are really something.
beautiful waterfall, excellent choice of shutter speed, and especially (as noted above) beautiful sunlight showing through the trees at the top of the image. the sunlight at the LR also adds to the composition. Well done.

Hi Dan, I really like this image the tones are beautiful and so is the light and the Rokina, Samyand, and Bower lens is a joy to work with no matter which system it is used with.
