    Default Osprey Mama and Chick

    I don't recall seeing an Osprey chick before, so i thought you might be interested in seeing one.

    Image taken at Cypress Lake, Florida on a cloudy day. The nest is on top of a cypress tree that stand may be 6 to 8 ft above the water. The Ospreys apparently like this arragement, I had never seen so many Ospreys in one day.

    Slight crop from bottom and right. It was really a grab shot. Mama was not happy with us, so left them to themselves immediately after the shot taken.

    There was a huge fish in the nest.

    I like the view of the Juvi Loi good exposure and details. I think the adults nictitating membrane is partially closed? the environment is a bit too buys here for my taste.
