    Captured this image in Trinidad several weeks ago. A lifer for me, and what a beauty he is. The background is a large watering hole shared by a number of water foul and a small herd of Cape Buffalo. C&C welcome.

    D4s, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/2500s, f 8.0, ISO 5000, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    I like the topside view but not a fan of the bared wire and the busy FG. looks like some of the FG leaves were partially blocking your lens

    Nice bird, but I find the green OOF areas dominate the shot too much for my liking. A squarer head angle may have helped as well.

    Beautiful looking bird Geoffrey. Nice control of the blacks and whites, but, as already been said. The FG and BG.

    Ihave to say - I like thios as it is. The oof stuff in my humble opinion frames the bird rather nicely. The bird is spot on I think. Whites handled beautifully.
