PS Now that I see this posted I should have cropped up from the bottom a bit to get rid of reflection of specular highlight.

Grand little wader shot Gail. Superb light and nicely blurred reflection. I know these little guys and boy! - can they move!!
    Cheers

Hi Gail a technically well executed frame
Love the low POV , stunning DOF and the overall tone and color palette makes this a stunning frame of the Dunlin.
    Very nice work.

Hi Gail, love your low shooting angle here, colours stand out well, and the Dunlin is tack sharp. Lovely feeding pose, and I do like the inclusion of the plants across the frame.

Great feeding pose in gorgeous light. Yes, I'd take out the highlight in the reflection. And possibly remove the second catchlight even though it's natural. Beautiful frame.

I'd rather clone out the specular highlight over cropping out more of the reflection as then you will be left with not enough at the bottom. My type of low angle, and I like the textures along the in-focus line of water surface.
