Nice one Will. That pale background , which I don't normally go for gives it a surreal effect. Nice range of whites.

Nothing wrong with that light IMO, totally shadow-less and makes he bird look like a painting. Very nice.
Such a cool looking bird you captured, Will. Looks good, would look great against blue sky.
Light and bird are lovely and it looks pretty darned sharp. With luck you might have had a bit more into the downstroke but overall excellent. a

Looks like you nailed this one Will, sharp and very well exposed.
Keith.
Lovely image against what I would call a white sky here in Florida. Nice colors, sharp detail. Thank you for sharing.

This is excellent Will.
Tack sharp with great wing position.
The whites look excellent - perfect exposure.
As presented, the image is great but it would have been "killer" to get this against a non-white BG!

Everything looks spot on. As Artie mentions a bit more downstroke would have been excellent, but I do realize that sometimes ducks pas by with shallow wingstrokes. I like the high-key effect.
A real stunner, Will!
Love the high key effect with the light background - looks very dramatic with the 'graphic' shapes of the Eider.
Very well done!
Gerald
Thanks for all the lovely comments and advice on this one.
