White Fallow Buck
This is a White Fallow Buck in the Wyre Forest. They turn up every now and then. This one is in velvet and you can see the left antler is deformed.. This is usually the result of an injury to the opposite rear leg. This was the case and looked like it had been caught in a fence. White deer are veryb nervous here because they get chased around by people more than the others because they are white.. Photographers I must admit are not always free from blame.. Unlike park deer they do have a larger area to get lost in.

John as a guy with a special love of fallow, this is wonderful for me to view. Very inspiring!! I really like the ragwort it adds something for me combined with the wildflower meadow setting and woodland backdrop. A special buck in his habitat
