I like the name of the image.

Perfect use of a vertical crop and accentuating the symmetry of the insect and his perch. I like how the perch leads you right to the insect and then curves left as it recedes into the BG.

As was recommended to me, a polarizer might help with the specular highlights due to reflection on the insects body. Nice work.

Looks like a suspicious character you wouldn't want crossing the border to me!

I love the head on view and vertical nature of the image. I too like the perch he's on.

    Neat image!

Great capture. This has a face only a mother could love. Isn't it time to call the "Men in Black"?

Sweet image. I love the head-one angle. Lighting, bg, and dof are spot-on. I'd like to crop some off the bottom.

Also, it isn't a stinkbug (family Pentatomidae, Heteroptera), it is a treehopper (family Membracidae, Homoptera).

Thanks Bob. You are right. It is an Umbonia crassicornis.

Very well done, AD, the on your face compo works very well her and the perch provides a good symmetric element.

Great head on view! You've got the dof nailed in this one.
