I like the head shot, the whites on the bill have been turned grey though most likely as a result of Lightroom's highlight recovery. the reds in the eye also look a bit too saturated for a coot.

You've done well choosing your composition here. Agree on the grey on the beak, but the eye color looks just right to me.
