    It's a set of wonderful tools. The flip side is they may not be supported in the future. But maybe something better will come along...

    I use Nik filters on almost all my images but I find the default settings are to strong for my taste and I often want to apply the effect selectively so I recommend applying them with a mask and using the opacity slider to fine tune them.
