    Here's the female of the species I posted yesterday.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 2500, 1/400s @ f/6.3 manual, fill @ -1.7 EV. Gitzo and Mongoose.

    Wow that's even better lovely details in the plumage and I like the perch. I may be tempted to eliminate the white blob on the perch.

    Great looking bird Bill A nice hint of some BG too. I would tone down the white blob on the perch.

    Beautiful bird. Nice to have her on a perch with a clear BG and the tail fully visible. Well done, Bill.

    it's a sweet bird, good details and exposure but I find the perch distracting
