    Default Fulmar in Flight

    Attached Images Attached Images

    Canon 1DX
    f/4 500mm
    f/5.6
    1/2500
    ISO 800

Another fulmar image, taken same day as my last fulmar image. I was putting the new camera through its paces, and must say, a real big step up from the 5D Mk3, and 1D Mk4, everything just works so better .

Nice action captured and focus looks good. Whites on the neck looks a bit blown on my screen, the ISO setting in such bright light could go lower, perhaps 400?

I like the details you have captured on the wings and the nice pose. I wonder if some more could be cropped from the bottom.

Hi Will nice shot I like the pose but I would bring those highlights down a bit and I am sure you will see some more detail
(glad you are liking the camera, it took me ages to accept just how responsive it was - it just does things doesn't it?)

Thanks for the comments Hi Gerhard Yes I think 400 would have been better, Hi Jon Yep, it just 'does things' and faster.

Hi Will, great flight pose here, and overall, well exposed and sharp. I do like the whites of the bird against the sky BG.

Congrats on your new toy. Did you sell your other 2 camera's?
