Dottie and I went to the rookery at Gatorland in Orlando, Florida on Thursday morning. I captured this image of a Great Egret posturing, acting like it had a crest. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Joe
I love birds with crests- even though they don't normally show it Just had a blue tit like it.
The whites on this are great and that hint of habitat in the back. Good one.

Really a striking portrait, Joe! The dark green background is excellent. I enjoy the subtle details in the well-controlled whites and the crest and open beak just finish off a beautiful image.
