This image was created a few days ago at Laratinga wetlands with lots of these little juvenile waders feeding in the shallows. Canon 7D2, EF 600 f4 IS II + 1.4TC III, 1/4000, f5.6, ISO 1000. Shot taken from prone position, lens rested on Atlas bipod, DPP 4 / CS6. Comments welcome.

It's a beautiful image, well-executed. I would have shifted the bird to the right a small bit - maybe half an inch. Catchlight is great! Waiting to hear if anyone comments about HA.

I like the low angle and the BG. The focus is on the wing, the head is OOF unfortunately.

Love bird and what a great low angle you have here with a pretty darn nice background. Wish the bird weren't turned away, but the biggest issue is that your bird's head appears soft to my eyes.
