    Snipe
I love to see snipe in the places where they feed mainly. Shows how well they camoflauge.
This was after a long session in a very uncomfy hide !
The light was slightly CJ but not too bad. I tried to get the right amount of DOF to convey the habitat and I don't think its too far off.I was again plagued with reflection shots which I'll post later.

A fine preening shot, John. It really does show the habitat nicely.

    Thanks Bill
Often hard to get the balance- busy BG or habitat.
    Sometimes it works.

Well done on getting a clean shot. Snipe usually come with lots of background, this one stands out well.

I like the composition you chose and the lovely preening pose.
I don't mind the BG foliage but I do wish for a cleaner FG.
I would sharpen the head as it seems a bit soft to my eye.
