Very nice Gail! I like the backward preening pose as she works the tip of one of her secondaries and I love the raised feathers on the shoulder. The exposure and details look great to me and I really like the perch. Not the best light but not that bad either. I might do a little eye work to brighten it up a bit and remove the upper catchlight.
    Well done Gail.

I really like the preening pose here and the shooting angle is nice. Well exposed and sharp. I wish for a better perch and light. Nice work, Gail.

Nice one, Gail. I like the way the hawk has the secondary in it's beak, and the good look-back pose. Light was handled well, IMO. Good detail.

Well exposed in the harsh light. Alittle work on the two catchlights in the eye will improve this image even more.

Really nice to see so much of the beautiful feather patterns in this preening capture Gail, and the head angle is terrific.
I also like seeing the foot and talons on that perch so well too, nice composition. Very well done in less than ideal light. :-)

A nice pose but it appears a bit washed out to me. I might increase the contrast and saturation a tad.

Agree this image looks a bit washed out. Like the preening pose. Would do a little eye doctor work on that eye.
