Hi Sanjeev, I feel the image is a little lost in frame, sadly it doesn't quite grab me, or has the 'presence' that some of your images have. I feel swopping to the 500 & 1.4 would have created a better/more creative image here, but this is just my take. If the IQ is there, then I might have gone tighter, but I feel the BKG may come into play and be a little more distracting in relation to the subject. Nice detail & overall colour.

These are lovely animals and are spectacular when the herd runs through the water.

Hi Sanjeev -- I agree with what Steve has to say , certainly a tighter frame would have worked better , such a lovely animal to see and photograph . TFS !

    Hi Sanjeev

My take is a pano(adding to left of image) if you have more to work with. I would crop just below your signature to keep the little hill, but to lose the distracting dark bits.
    Regards

    Andre.

Hi Sanjeev a lovely looking specimen of this very nice antelope species .
Lovely color and tones in general , i might try to burn the HL in the subject a fraction .
Good suggestion by Andre regarding the crop , might get more attention to the subject , as i too feel it does look a bit lost in the frame .

    Hi Sanjeev,

Andre gave you good suggestion for crop I agree with that

For the processing most is said already, I have nothing to add to this. Wonder when this kind of animal will cross my path some day

Have a great eve & weekend

    Ciao Anette

    Hello Sanjeev,

A bit late to this, my apologies.

Beautiful proud stance from this Lechwe and some lovely light touching him. The colours are great and those soft grasses help the subject stand out.

I would personally crop that bit above what looks like a termite mound, I feel the darker bits at the top of the frame are a tad distracting. Whites on the Lechwe a bit hot, there are a few options available if you wish to tame them.

Otherwise a perfect pose and I like the eye contact, indeed a simple but effective frame Sanjeev, thank you so much for sharing!

    Wishing you a good evening,
    Gabriela Plesea
