Found this one that I thought might fit the theme, if not a bit of fun.

Hi Keith, this is gorgeous, very sweet and I can't wait to read Gabriela's feedback, she will love it!!!

Techs look good, but again, in the processing you are getting parts that appear blotchy. I would suggest you remove the stem poking out from the side of the mouse. Adding a channel layer will bolster the depth in the plant and create more interest, likewise I might tweak the colour in Colour balance to bring a bit more richness to the green, it looks a bit flat, albeit on the laptop. I also feel you could drop the exposure say -0.20. Sitting on the leaves illustrates just how light these wee guys are, but agile and can balance well.

I'm very please you dug this out.

    TFS
    Steve

PS This is probably way off, but it was just to illustrate the direction I was suggesting.

Very nice Keith, I like the composition but I too thought it lacked a little punch (strangely enough the colours are like the ones I get using ACR v DPP - any how I am not trying to start a processing war)
The composition os fine and I like the pose, the title is apt and it is a great subject. The background looks a little well sort of red grainy bits on it, a bit like posterisation, I see Steve has fixed it.

Hi Keith - An absolutely adorable image and definitely a good one for the theme! The comp works extremely well. Steve has taken it up a notch but I would still try a luminosity mask on the highlights in the green channel at about 20-25% opacity working from what Steve has done. I am torn about the removal of the stem because in the op it is as if the mouse is leaning/sleeping on the stem. Really well captured Keith!

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Hi Keith

    Love this little thing!
The pose is very cute, can think of a few captures...
The first thing that drew my eye was the posterisation in BG, this normally a sign of a heavy hand in processing (blurring).
Steve did well with the rest of image, shows us it is not just about subject- the rest is just as important!
    Regards

    Andre.

Oh yes Keith, Steve is absolutely right: I am loving it!

This image is not about the mouse with its eyes closed: it has meaning, a great humorous side, and certainly appeals to all of us who appreciate the little things in Nature. Love the composition and positioning of the subject in the frame. Super sweet pose from the little un', he is so sweet and so tiny I imagine he would fit perfectly in the palm of my hand:)

Lovely Theme image and I thank you for sharing! My apologies for coming in so late, I was away yesterday. I am delighted to see you already received feedback, as well as a lovely RP from Steve. I too feel you could add a bit more "oomph" here and there my friend, time you start playing with those layers and masks. You got so many wonderful images lately, they need that delicate touch, selective adjustments, you will be amazed what you can do and I cannot wait to see the results!

Warmest regards, have a great week-end Keith

Thanks Andre,Haseeb,Annette,Gabriela it's funny that you mentioned these fitting into the palms of your hand, had a bit of a unplanned release with some of my breeding mice so spent a couple of hours catching them, they do fit into your hands but keep your fingers closed.

    Keith.

Andre totally agree with this." a sign of a heavy hand in processing (blurring).
Steve did well with the rest of image, shows us it is not just about subject- the rest is just as important!" something I will certainly remember.
