    Default Flying bullet?

Here is another frame of the belted KF that I photographed a few weeks back. I am not usually a fan of the retracted wing position but for this bird I like it since it literraly looks like a bullet emphasizing the speed of this bird

I love the pose and the sense of speed this frame creates. I like the fact that we can see the primaries well and the details and BG are killer!! I would remove the second catchlight to clean up the eye a bit, but besides that, I'm jealous!! Great frame.

Faster than a speeding bullet...Agree on everything you said but this image is the exception to the rule, Arash. Killer BG, head is tack sharp and nice catch light.

I can 'feel' the speed, from the image. Great detail at this speed, and showing well against the BG colour. Fantastic.

Well caught, Arash. Difficult capture well executed. Wonder only if a comp decentering the bird is an option.

Anyone who has ever tried to capture some IF's of these little guys can certainly relate to your title Arash.
I personally like seeing different wing positions other than the perfect downstroke from time to time, and I think the swept back position you captured here is really cool.
Terrific detail and the BG is killer good... excellent work once again.

A very hard to get image pulled off by the BIF master. How do you like the 7DMKII?

Hi Lorant, it's a good body but there is no contest between it and the 1DX. I use it as a backup.
