I captured this image of a Little Blue Heron preening at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. The bird was perched on a 8 inch square wooden post adding nothing to the image, so I went tight for a portrait. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Joe, another lovely preening image from you for the theme. I do like the detail, good DOF, and I really like the colour of this Heron. Although you mention the 'perch' was not ideal, I feel cutting off the Heron as you have doesnt work for me. I would like to see a version with the 'perch'/post included, even if it is only a little bit.
