    I believe that this preening Shoveller is a male eclipse. I would welcome verification if somebody would be so kind.

    Canon 7D Mk2. Canon 100-400 L Mk2. Hand Held.

    1/640 @ f 5.6 ISO 1000 +1.33 EV

    Hi David, great look back preening pose, and the light has really brought out colours on the head. I would run some NR on the upper BG.

    the preening pose is nice, details are a bit soft and highlights appear a bit over exposed. it's a bit too big and centered in the frame for my taste
