I used a couple of filters to slightly alter the original color of the image to make it a little warmer and add more contrast. I used a blue texture that was grainy so I did a motion blur on it and then used Topaz Impression 2 ways and placed both over the image and masked the kite. One was in multiply mode and the other with the white streaks was in hard light. I let the original background show through as it had some blue sky and clouds in it.

Wonderful colors. Again, I like the sky very much. I wonder about positioning the kite more in the upper right corner.

Thanks Anita. I cropped it like that because of the sky not knowing I would mostly cover it up. See, the sky below the kite was almost all white while to top part was blue.

Here is another version of the same image with a frame from Exposure 7 and other minor differences.

I like the OP better, Judy. This has an airy, spring feel to it which I'm sure was your intention

Super cool kite! The washed blue & white textured sky bkgd is perfect for adding a windy, motion filled space for the kite to fly in

Very nice! The fluttery tails show the wind and the clouds fit in well. I prefer the second version as the lighter sky has less blue bleeding through to the kite and tails. And I'm a sucker for ragged borders.
