I like it! I assume this is either early morning or dusk by the lighting. I like the water droplets coming off the bill and the water below. I might clone out those two spots in the LRH corner.

I really like this photo. I only wish I could see the whole reflection.

    Thank you,

Actually the shore line was not so pretty.....you can see some of the rocks poking up...in the lower middle of the reflection...they just don't always stand where you want them !

I appreciate your looking at the photo...

Very nice! The raised foot is bonus for me. Droplets are always good. The purists would mention the angle of the bird is turning away, but that doesn't bother me at all.

    Well done.

I hope to see more soon!

Hi Ann -- welcome here! Lovely subject, setting and light. You have a very nice camera and lens, too.

I always seem to be in the same boat, where a lovely reflection is spoiled by the water's edge. This one is very interesting but having it cut in two pulls the eye down away from the subject. The part closest to the bird is very nice so I tried a crop to just include that part, and reduced contrast on it a little. I cloned out a couple of distracting spots and leveled the "horizon" using the reflection.

    What do you think?

thanks for your observations and comments....I think your improvements really enhanced the photo, particularly removing the "rocks"....

    I appreciate your edits!
