    A male Red-winged Blackbird silhouetted at dawn singing. Behind him and to the left was downtown Manhattan with the sun peeking from some clouds.

    This was shot with a manual focus Nikon 500mm f/4 P and TC-14B on a Nikon D700 at f/5.6, ISO 400, 1/2000s

    I like the colour palette, fine detail in the naked twigs and the sing pose of the bird, Nikhil. I would clone out the blurry twig on the left.

    Love the feel of this one and where you were going with it. Had there been some breath coming out of the bird's mouth, that would have sent this image over the top.
