    From a week ago in Tobago on a sweltering hot/humid day with a welcomed tropical rain for us and seemingly for this Blue-gray Tanager. Quite the acrobat while dining on this throned flowering tree.

    A life bird for me. C&C welcome.

    D4S, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/800s, f 7.1, ISO 1600, ff, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    I like the rain drops and the upside down pose. An interesting fun image. TFS.

    Like this a lot,beautiful bird with colours that look spot on,nice flowers and raindrops it as got the lot.Very nice work Geoffrey.

    Nice capture of this guy in the rain. The Immortelle Tree is iconic in the Tobago rainforest, and spectacular this time of year. This one was being put to good use by the tanager.
