    Snipe punturing itself!

    The wader hide finally paid off. Only 4 hours this time with a new seat ! The light was slightly from behind /late afternoon, but not too bad.
    Quite a large crop (60%) so IQ suffered somewhat.

    I did expect it to go bang any minute !
    I have litereally hundreds of these birds preening etc but all with a lot of veg in the BG. Just a few like this.

    I like this preening pose, whites have nice detail and I like the position in the frame. Glad the new hide is working out.

    Maybe he's committing "Harry Carry" :) Nice frame with an interesting pose, good eye contact,( not often seen in preening poses) and lots of nice details. Well done
