    Default Goose Portrait #2

A tight head shot of a Canada Goose at Vancouver BC.
I sat down low to get the head at eye level and the distant reeds in the BG really helped isolate the subject!

Excellent portrait, Sanjeev. Superb feathers details and beautiful colors. Great exposures in whites and blacks. Nice composition.

I like this portrait better than the other image of Canada Goose you posted earlier. Good isolation from the BG with good sharpness throughout the goose - f/8 did the trick. I'm actually OK with the bit of mud on and grass strand in the bill as it tells the story of a goose feeding on the park lawn. I'd probably blend in the dark area top edge above the bill.

Sanjeev looks like your combo works exceptionally well, texture and sharpness show very well especially on the bill.
