    Allen:

    Nice high key treatment, like the curving perch, birds angle in frame, grip on thin branch.

    Because the background is highkey, I think the bird would present better if he was just a bit brighter himself. A slight upward adjustment of the midpoint of the curve would probably do it.

    I have a grey background on my viewer for BPN, and the frame edge just melts into the screen background. Could consider a fine frame on the image to give it a bit of separation. Just an option.

    I like the high key here and the vegetation and perch work well. I'd try to make the red of the eye more pronounced if possible.
