    LORANT:

The lighting, contrast and pop is all very nice here. Excellent head angle, fine shooting angle, all good.

Ripples make me think it needs a bit of CW rotation, but close.

    Well captured.

    Cheers

The way the colours all fit in together with this shot is beautiful Lorant, so many similar but complementing shades.

Add the pose and perfect head angle, and you have a real winner with this frame.

You've done it again! Just beautiful. The BG, the subtle green through the middle, the feather detail, pose...everything just works.

How do you like the skimmer pod?

    Thank you sharing Lorant!

I like the silver glow of the image. The pose is fantastic. Horizon needs tiny adjustment as suggested. If there is room in the left would you consider adding 1/8 or 1/4" behind tail? What a nice experience looking at this picture. Thanks for sharing.

Terrific low angle work, love the eye-level perspective Lorant. Lovely light, and the BG compliments so well. I agree with Randy about the need for just a bit of CW rotation. :)
    Beautiful image, very well done.

Hi Lorant, perfect preening pose for the theme, good feather detail, and again, lovely complementary colours between the bird and BG. Another vote for some CW rotation.

Excellent image. Beautiful color scheme in the frame. Nice preening pose with open eye and I like the feathers on the neck. Nice composition.

    Regards,
    Satish.

I love the skimmer pod. On windy days like when this photo was taken it is absolutely a must.
