I see so many beautiful birds in this forum. Falcons, eagles, owls, swans. I can only offer a little Swamphen (Porphyrio-porphyrio) for this months theme.

Some distracting BG ducks removed. ACR and PS adjustments.

Nothing wrong with Swamp Hens Glennie, like the look back pose, and you have managed to get all of those great feet into the frame. Bird colour and detail look good to me, don't think I would change anything, very nice work.

Focus and detail on the bird looks good. One could wish for a tiny bit of head turn to engage the eye better but swamphens usually do whatever they like! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Glennie, great eye level perspective of the Swamphen, and I like the look back pose. I like the mixture of colours , and if anything, I would maybe darken the legs a touch.

Love the plumage details you've got here, and the head angle suits the shot. I don't know this bird but the legs look a little washed out in colour to me.

Neat pose. Gotta love those feet and it's nice to see them exposed. You have very nice details here

I just stumbled on this one -- beautiful work, Glennie! I love the pose and how it shows off those wonderful feet. Very nice sharpness and tonalities. Look forward to seeing more of these characters -- they look like good subjects.
