    Nicely exposed with lots of fine detail in the feathers (esp. on the forehead and eye area.

    Good head angle.

    Wish the neck had been extended just a bit so he did't look quite so squat.

    Rather mixed feelings about the green at top. I could see a version with that cloned, with solid blue.

    Ah yes, these guys have begun returning this week...one of the first true signs of spring! I like the "S" curve of the head, neck, and breast. I agree the green at top could / should go, and I am not sold on the square crop. Did you lower the highlights on the chest?
