    nice colors and clarity, wish you had more ss to freeze the foot as it is oof... great breeding colors on the tri colored.

    Beautiful shot, Frank. Great stalking pose,nice detail (although I agree it would have been even better with a bit more ss for the foot). Beautiful Bunche Beach background. I'm torn about the comp: not sure the reflection is worth the large amount of empty space at the bottom. I could imagine a crop from below. But a handsome image as posted.

    I agree with Bill. The reflection doesn't have enough form to actually make it work, I think I would prefer to crop most of the bottom and make it tighter in the vertical direction. But this is such an awesome shot though. Is that the breeding plumage for this heron?

    I like the low angle and sharp details, I agree about ss. you could have easily raised the ISO to gain ss to get the rising foot sharper. I also wish there was more of that green stuff behind the bird and in front of him
