Greylag in the snow
We finally had a decent snowfall so I set out to get some wintery sots. Got as far as a few test shots then got a call to say my sons school was closing and I had to go home!
Not the most spectacular of subjects, but I did like the snow on the beak

Just shows how a common subject can work well. Snow makes it I must admit.
You can see why it hurts abit when they nip too !!

Lovely detail! I agree with John that this really shows how a mundane subject can shine in some interesting situations. I love the teeth, if that's what you call, and the head angle is very nice. Thanks for showing us this image, Mike!

I love this one, Mike. The neck structure is very nice, nice detail over all, but the hint of snow on the beak just takes the image to the top. Super shot!

Can't complain about the snow Mike it really does add something to your image, detail and colour is good ,and all sitting on a nice clean bg.
