    Default Theme: Cause and Effect

Greetings. Stormy here the past few days. The beach was left a sea of foam... a few minutes later a downpour washed it all away.

SEP to b&w, Topaz Impression Da Vinci Sketch multiply blend, then luminosity blend over original color, Topaz Adjust (tonality to taste)

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

As long as there's not serious damage, storms can be a great experience. I like what you captured. Blue and brown is one of my favorite combinations, so the color works very nicely. What I assume is from the Da Vinci Sketch layer is especially effective in the clouds and the lower part of the sky but I wonder how the image would look if it weren't as prominent in the darker part of the sky.

I'm glad you're OK from the storms - I love storms at the beach and their aftermath (as long as it's not destructive). I like the effect on the top but I long for a little more detail on the foam.

Great clouds! Nicely processed. I'm not crazy about the bottom third of the image as it isn't clear what it is. But the sky and clouds are beautifully dramatic.

Awesome dramatic clouds! Although the foam is what caught your eye it doesn't show well enough in this image, especially with that cloud formation grabbing all the attention. I would consider cropping about half the bottom away. I would also remove that one obvious vertical piece of driftwood if you crop.
