    If you had a better head turn this would work much better...
    I like the idea a lot, I would have backed up is you could for more room around all.

    Wilhelm I also would have liked to see more space around the subjects.do like the fact that there is just enough detail in the Seal and the Oystercatcher stands out well, different image that I do like.

    I really like the idea here, super! Yes, a better head angle and a bit looser comp would have taken this a few notches higher, and same had the OC moved a step or two forward. Well exposed, and the dof is just right with a perfect amount of blur to the seal.

    I like the tight crop, it gives the OOF seal more impact against the sharp, detailed bird

    Hello,

    many thanks for comments and discussions.
    when photographing near the water ,everytime I lie on my belly because of the low position. i like it, when the water flows into the lens hood :-) more space around was impossible (prime lens) and the oystercatcher was speedily.

    Understand where what you are saying Wilhelm,please keep that lens out of the water they are expensive.

    I like the crop and the positioning of the seal and the OC. A bit of a shame about the head angle, but would you turn your back to the seal anthems instance?!
