    Image was created in the Oct,2015. This is another frame from the one (same series) which I have posted in 2015.

    Basic editing. Cropped for composition.
    OOF part of branch at left corner of the perched removed.
    Selectively sharpened the head. Eye lighten and catch-light lighten more selectively.Part of the perch darkened. NR applied to BG.


    ISO: 400, 1/1000 @5.6. Spot metering. Manual settings.
    Canon 550D, 100-400 mm.

    A very nice preening pose Satish, love that BG too. Just wish for a bit more DOF.

    Yes to very nice. Can you say "uropygial gland"? I am fine with the d-o-f but would love to see the face opened up a bit: some NIK Detail Extractor/Tonal Contrast would do wonders for this at about 25%. a

    ps: or maybe just pull the curve up on the whole image as the WHITEs are looking a bit gray...

    Both look pretty good to me Satish
    maybe the BG is a little bit "colourful"- but no big deal. At least it has a little gradation in it which I always like in bird shots.
    Good theme image whatever.
