    A handsome bird, good choice on f/stop giving effective DOF. A somewhat busy background, but the muted tones downplays that. Excellent catchlight.

    A few more degrees of head turn our way would have been even better, but very close.

    Another lovely image from your watering hole John, good head turn and plumage detail showing off this beautiful subject.
    Also I like the natural setting showing where this bird comes to drink and bathe, in such situations the background is almost impossible to control.
