    Well exposed and sharp. Good separation for the head. I do prefer the wing alignment of the previous post. Still waiting for those perfect puffy clouds!

    Nice landing shot Stuart. Well exposed and sharp. Ideally, the right wing would be more fully expanded, and you might consider adding just a little more canvass on the right. But it's quite nice as is.

    Hi Stuart.

    I prefer this one over the previous landing shot because the heron is more adrift. To me it is more essence of heron than the other tidy shot. Herons landing in trees or on their nests usually are out of kilter and are often - to coin a technical term - assymetrically flapdoodle.
