    I like this. Very moody looking and nice greys throughout the image. Lovely pose. HA is ok, but would have loved to see the bird looking towards us just a little.

    Good vertical comp, and good exposure on the subject with that very bright BG. Good view of those large feet on the flat perch. Yes to a better head angle, and I would have tried getting higher or lower to prevent the far horizon line from cutting through the heron's head.

    Excellent image. Very color scheme. I like the his stare. Nice composition.
