Nice light, and you have my favorite shorebird / wader / long-legged bird leg position: what I like to call the "figure four". Super sense of habitat as pointed out by Randy. Although minor I would consider eliminating the two brighter streaks touching the head. Perhaps also a bit off the bottom, but not too much. Blacks and whites both look good!

Sharp and technically perfect along with a nice image design. Bummer that you could not have gotten out of the vehicle and lied down on the ground... The differences would have been HUGE. a
