    I like the composition, and although the bird is small in the frame, the placement and separation from the tree makes it work very well. Good pose, imperial as only an eagle can do.

    I do find the image a little flat, almost a bit murky on my monitor.

    I added a "soft light" blend mode layer at 63%, to give it a bit more contrast and snap.

    Very nice image for the monthly theme with the nice balance in the image. Indeed the OP is very cold and blue; I prefer the repost of Randy.

    Love the image design and the look back head angle. While Randy's repost is a bit better you might try adding a layer of Auto Contrast and reducing the opacity to from 20-30%. a
