    Apologies for the IQ -- just shot it for ID from a distance and then it took off. It was in the flat, dry sagebrush and hay farming region of eastern Oregon, last week.

    Thanks guys! Also found a Prairie Falcon (with even worse pictures, into the sun). Went to look for Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles but didn't see even one.
