This reinforces an opinion based on a reasonable amount of experience that a couple layers of glass needn't be a problem. The sparrow looks great, but I think I'd like to see the background rendered a bit less distracting.

I've done the glass thing many times. Like how the light comes in to make parts of the bird "glow". Agree with Dennis re the background. Not a biggie, but the upper left could be not quite so dark and imposing. Very nice overall.

Mitch, it seems a bit tight but I think I would crop a little from the bottom anyway to eliminate the crook of the lowest branch. And maybe lighten the darkest areas on the left.

Cute bird and pose. I like the light on bird. Agree with above comments.

The great thing about OOTB images is that a little dirty glass doesn't matter! Lovely pose and lighting on the sparrow. I agree with the above comments on the bkgd.

Nice capture of the sparrow and the glass didn't detract from it as an OOTB image. I agree with comments about the background.

I like the golden glow; particularly, the beak. The distinctive white throat is well represented. Getting a clean bg when shooting small birds is difficult.
