Very nice perch, well exposed image, good IQ, nice colors and clean BG. My only wish would be that the bird was more in line with you and that the single flower in the lower end would not be cut. TFS.

    Jon:

Nice colour harmony between bird and bg. Attractive perch.

There is a subtle sharpening halo on the crown of the head.

I could also see a version that was cropped vertically.

    Cheers

That's excellent work Jon, always a challenge to get a nice shot of the more common subjects. Reading Lorants suggestion I agree maybe a slight crop from the left of about 1cm would work.

Simple elegant composition, beautiful background and colors. Reminds me of an Audubon. Very nice!

Hi Jon, lovely angled pose, well exposed, and the sharpness spot on. I like the flowery perch, but wish you had a teeny bit more space below, that the one flower wasnt cut off.

Thanks for the feedback, I did juggle a bit with composition if I cut one off then another etc, what I didn't do was simply change the crop shape from 3:2 or 4: etc - I should have!
