    I caught this Burrowing Owl a few years ago in some nice evening light. The head angle couldn't have been better as it has to be perfect to get the eyes lit well without shadows. Hope you like it.

    Very nice stare, great pose and I really like the brown tonality all over the frame. I feel it would be better to have some more room above and maybe less below. TFS.

    Great image, David! Love the eyes, wing position, and bg. I also like the way the face is tack sharp, but the wings are blurred. It gives the viewer a feeling for how fast these little owls move. BFAM

    Excellent incoming flight shot. I like the wing spread, eyes of the owl and color scheme.

    Hi Dave, excellent head on capture, and of course, the direct eye contact with those large eyes takes this up a few notches. Love the detail on the face, and the V shape of the wings. The complimentary colours to the BG finishes the image off very well.
