    Wilhelm:

A riot of colors in this one, with complimentary background. The fluffed pose is great, good angle in frame. Perch is excellent.

I am seeing a little noise in the darker areas of the bg.

Ideally, a slightly smaller f/stop to get the entire bird in focus, but since you didn't post your ISO or shutter speed, hard to know if that was an option for you.

    Well done.

    Cheers

Nice bird, nice colors, perch and BG. Agree with Randy's remark about the noise. Could you please post full shooting info?

Very appealing colours, you processed them just right. I like the pose, perch, BG. I just wish for a bit more room at top (and then a bit both sides to retain the ratio). Nicely done!

Great colors, soft pastel background, beautiful subject; is it possible to remove the foliage on the right side of the frame? TFS

Is it possible to remove the foliage on the right side of the frame? Seems to be something on the beak not sure if its supposed to be there. Otherwise what a beautiful subject, soft pastel background, and killer colors TFS steve

Gorgeous colors, lovely bg (which could be improved with a little NR). Nice pose. Congrats on getting this guy in Germany.

A real beauty Wilhelm! I like the colorful bird, complimentary BG and IQ. I would like more room up top as well.

Lovely soft colors as noted by all above. And a great look-back head turn with a sweet background and very sharp. Another possibility besides more room on the top and both sides would be a simple crop from the bottom at about 3/4 of the way from the lower right corner to the spot where the perch intersects the frame edge.

Does anyone know what a BPN limited member is?

Thanks Willhelm. With your images being so good, we hope that you join us soon as a member. The least that the bird could have done was to take a nice bath before posing for you :) a
