    I had the advantage of warm early evening sunlight to enhance the color of this indigo bunting. But I'd appreciate the further advantage of any comments you might have to make this image better.

    Welcome to the BPN family...:) I like your composition, and exposure. The singing pose is great, and the colors are rich and vibrant. I like the perch and the deep green background makes your bird pop...good show. Keep them coming; looking foward to more of your work...:cool:

    Sweet looking bird in a great pose !!! Lots of detail and fine looking bg !!! Would only suggest to tighten the crop just a bit I do like the proportions. I like it a lot very appealing image !!!!

    Great bird and colors!!!! Agree on the crop.

    Am I seeing a bit of posterization (sp) in the BG?

    Thanks to all for the helpful comments. As for possible posterization, I think there may be some in the image you have viewed. But that is an apparent artifact of the JPEG conversion used to post the image. There is no such problem in an 11 x 14 " print I made from a psd document in Photoshop CS3.
