    This was taken at a local river last week. The river has frozen over now. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Jim:

    ONe of my favorite ducks, and the soft light really shows off the red head well.

    The water color works well with the red head.

    Because the reflection is week, I could see a version cropped from the bottom, to just slightly above your sig.

    Beautiful, Jim. Rich reds and the swirls in the water add a painterly feel. I like the reflection in this case. My only thought is for a bit more room on the tail side of the frame.

    Love these ducks. Great colors and detail, interesting water. Lower POV might have been good (but not always possible), although it would have given you different reflection and water swirls.
