    I think we are all struggling at the moment in this country Jon, to get freash stuff.
    Good excuse to go back through the files though- especially when you come to stuff like this.

    Hi Jon, super pose looking for his next meal, and with a slightly open beak. I do like the light in this, and the colours look spot on. Perch full of interest with the lichen, and you have a great BG too. Comp wise, maybe a touch central, so moving him a bit to the left wont harm the image.

    Super nice IQ, nice colors, great looking perch and beautiful bird. I'd also follow Stu's composition advice.

    I like the perch, pose, open beak, IQ and sweet BG color. I agree with Stu's composition suggestion. Excellent image Jon.
